The European meeting place for the ULA world!
Safety will be the key word for the Mondial de l’ULM 2022. After a 2021 edition that went perfectly, our objective is to keep the same course for this year 2022.
A specialised and renewed team at the Flight Direction will be there to welcome you and allow you to enjoy your visit to the Mondial de l’ULM. We also wanted to keep animations in the sky with flights of all types of microlight throughout the weekend.
A better integration of paramotor flights will be effective, both for exhibitors and for private pilots.
The allocation of a specific radio call sign for microlights according to the class of the machine (speed management). This is the only call sign that must be used for radio contacts.
Arrival at the Mondial de l’ULM without authorization will be systematically refused by the controllers.
The details of registrations for arrivals by flight will be communicated to you within a few weeks.
Arrival by flight
All arrivals will be at two entry points, north and south, with mandatory radio contact.
A specific microlight circuit will be created to the south of the field (Sup AIP and Notam).
The airfield will be closed during the presentation day and the meeting.
All aircraft have to follow the instructions given by the controllers.
Use of both grass and hard runways without distinction of type. Priority will be given to microlights for the grass runway.
Provide an alternative runway nearby.
Each pilot must anticipate an extra 30 minutes of fuel reserve to manage any possible waiting time.
Each pilot is responsible for the airworthiness of his aircraft and the compliance of his insurance. All administrative documents aircrafts making in-flight presentations will be checked by the Flight Direction. No exception will be given in case of non-compliance.
For taxiing on the ground you will be taken care of by parking attendants. Please respect their instructions. A free parking space has been allocated to you. The entrance to the show is offered to the pilot licensed at the FFPLUM.
INFORMATION :For microlight pilots, it will be possible to camp under the wing of your aircraft.

41st Mondial de l’ULM
The Mondial de l’ULM is the absolute reference in Europe for microlight exhibition.
200% microlight in 2022 !
The first edition of the Mondial de l’ULM organized by the French Federation of Microlight in partnership with the Loir-et-Cher department and Blois-Le Breuil airfield was a success. Our objectives were achieved.

Grow up the number of exhibitors and made a 3 days event
To make the Mondial de l’ULM the main place of the microlight passionates in partnership with the Loir-et-Cher department.
We wanted to have 3000 visitors like the previous years. We had 5500 and more than 120 exhibitors. We have a lot of positive feedbacks. Of course, we have detected some détails to improve:
Easier flight arrivals and more flights for exhibitors
A better integration for paramotors, for the pilots and for the exhibitors
More animations on Sunday
More foreign exhibitors and «more ultralights»
In this particular context of the health crisis, the Mondial de l’ULM has been a refreshing moment and a good visibility for our passion. I want to thank all the volunteers who were here to help us. I would like to thank our partners and exhibitors who trust us. I would like to acknowledge the support of Damien Cazé, Director of the French Civil Aviation, and sponsor of this first edition.
2021 was 100% microlight, 2022 is going to be 200% microlights!
